Karachi University and Meezan Bank become partners to promote Islamic banking education

In a significant move to foster Islamic banking education, Karachi University (KU) and Meezan Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on initiatives that will enhance the understanding and promotion of Islamic banking principles among students and professionals.

The partnership between KU and Meezan Bank aims to create a platform for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and capacity building in the field of Islamic banking. Under the MoU, both institutions will work together to develop and deliver specialized academic programs, workshops, and seminars focused on Islamic finance and banking. Speaking about the partnership, Dr. Khalid Iraqi, Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, emphasized the significance of Islamic banking education in the current financial landscape.
