following vacant position:
Position: Risk Analyst – Risk and Control
Self-Assessment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
- Candidates with a Master's degree and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred.
- Minimum of 03 years of experience in a bank and/or financial institution, with at least 01 year in risk management.
- Basic knowledge of risk, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervisor in updating the Operational Risk (OR) framework and procedures as needed.
- Ensure the integration of the OR framework and procedures throughout the Bank through various assignments.
- Develop high-quality Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) covering all risks and controls of respective functions, including AML/CFT/CPE guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the format and other requirements of RCSAs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and reach conclusions at the highest level.
- Review all policies and procedures of other departments from the OR perspective and highlight areas for improvement.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of Risk Management Committee(s) and promptly inform the line manager of any changes.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of OR policies and procedures, as well as related matters such as regulatory guidelines and operational procedures.
