Sohail Malik assumes position as Chief Digital Officer of
National Bank of Pakistan
Sohail Malik has been appointed as the Chief Digital Officer
at the National Bank of Pakistan (PSX: NBP).
Prior to this, he held the position of Group Head of Digital
Banking at the public sector bank.

Malik is a distinguished and rising professional in the
realm of digital banking, with a rich history of substantial contributions in
various banks over the past two decades.
Before joining the National Bank of Pakistan, he served as
the Chief Digital and Financial Inclusion Officer at HBL Microfinance Bank. In
addition, he has held roles at FINCA Microfinance Bank as the Head of Digital
Financial Services and at MCB Bank as the Head of Branchless Banking.
He also garnered invaluable experience working with esteemed
telecom companies, including Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL),
Wateen Telecom, and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), before
venturing into the financial sector.
