Pakistan Financial Literacy Week will feature onground and virtual activities 

The inaugural Pakistan Financial Literacy Week is set to commence on March 4th, 2024, organized by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) under the theme of 'Digital Bankari- fori aur asaan'. Governor Jameel Ahmad will kick off the event at SBP Karachi on March 4th.

Running until March 8th, 2024, the week will feature a blend of on-ground and virtual activities across the nation. These include 150 Financial Literacy Camps in 60 cities, facilitated by commercial banks and SBP field offices. These camps will offer practical insights into digital financial services like RAAST, QR code, Asaan Mobile / Digital Accounts, and general financial literacy topics.

 

SBP launches Agriculture Finance Literacy Program



An essential aspect of the Pakistan Financial Literacy Week is engaging students nationwide, acknowledging the critical role of financial education in shaping their futures. To this end, competitions on various themes of digital finance will be held in 16 SBP Banking Services Corporation field offices, aiming to foster financial awareness and responsible money management from an early age. Additionally, an online video and poster competition will be open to the public.

This initiative, aligned with global campaigns such as Global Money Week, represents SBP's pioneering effort to advance financial literacy and inclusion at a national level.
