Mobilink Bank plants trees as part of corporate social responsibility
Mobilink Bank, Pakistan's leading digital microfinance bank,
conducted a nationwide plantation drive to increase the country's forest cover
and address the challenges of climate change.
Teams from all 109 branches participated in the drive, planting approximately five thousand saplings to create a greener Pakistan for future generations.

Bank's Climate Action Programme "Change to Sustain," aimed at creating
a prosperous and sustainable Pakistan resilient to the impacts of climate
change.
In addition to Mobilink Bank's teams, officials from district administrations, the State Bank of Pakistan, faculty members from various educational institutions, and members of civil society participated in plantation campaigns across multiple cities and towns.

Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the importance of aggressive tree plantation efforts, considering Pakistan's position among the top eight countries most affected by climate change. The programme aims to protect natural resources, livelihoods, and the lives of vulnerable communities, particularly women.
