Bank Alfalah and UnionPay International to introduce co-badge PayPak debit cards

Bank Alfalah Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading commercial banks will work together with UnionPay International (UPI) to introduce co-badge PayPak debit cards. This launch marks the industry’s first UnionPay co-badge platinum debit card, offering customers exceptional value and access to exclusive international privileges across 183 countries and regions through UnionPay’s extensive global network.

The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, with Atif Bajwa, President and CEO of Bank Alfalah, and James Yang, General Manager of UnionPay International, leading the signing.

Also present were Mehreen Ahmed, Group Head of Retail Banking; Syed Muhammad Asif, Head of Consumer Finance; Muhammad Qasim Rashid, Head of Unsecured Products; and Abid Malik, Head of Unsecured Product Management from Bank Alfalah. Representing UnionPay International were Nadeem Haroon, Country Manager for Pakistan, and Ali Abbas, Business Development Manager.
