Khawar Saeed of AJK Bank recognized as the Best Performing CEO
Khawar Saeed, the President and CEO of the Bank of Azad Jammu
and Kashmir, has been recognized as the Best Performing CEO by the CEO Club
Pakistan.
The prestigious award was presented to him by Punjab Governor
Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman at a ceremony held in the Governor House Lahore.
The event witnessed the attendance of over 200 chief executive
officers (CEOs), chairmen, directors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and
policy makers from across the country.
Khawar Saeed assumed the position of CEO of the AJK Bank in
December 2019.
Under his leadership, the bank, a corporate entity solely owned
by the AJK Government and established in 2005, has achieved remarkable
performance in all financial matters over the past three years.
The bank has undergone a complete transformation, emerging as a
stable, sound, and profitable financial institution. It has not only overcome
the challenges posed by well-established commercial banks operating in AJK but
has also experienced significant growth in profitability, particularly in 2022.
The exceptional performance of the Bank of AJK demonstrates
Khawar Saeed's ability to leverage his diverse domestic and international
banking experience of over 35 years.
This transformation has solidified the bank's position as a
reliable financial institution in the state of AJK, thanks to strategic
planning, upgradation initiatives, a strong human resource base, and an
expanded branch network.
Khawar Saeed attributes the Best CEO Award to his dedicated
team, from branch employees to the Board and other stakeholders, as well as the
unwavering trust placed in the bank by its customers. This accomplishment not
only marks a significant milestone for the Bank but also for the State of Azad
