PTCL selected by National Bank of Pakistan for managed data centre
hosting
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and National
Bank of Pakistan Limited (NBP) have entered into an agreement to offer primary
Data Center colocation services at PTCL's Tier-III Data Center facility.
The agreement was signed by Zarrar Hasham Khan, Group Chief
Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Amin Manji, Group Chief
ITG & CTO at National Bank of Pakistan, during a signing ceremony held at
PTCL's Zonal office in Karachi.
The event was attended by Jafar Khalid, Group Chief Technology
Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, Noman Muzaffar, EVP Divisional Head ITG at
National Bank of Pakistan, Basharat Qureshi, Group VP Enterprise at PTCL, Umer
Ilyas, Group VP Data Centers at PTCL, Umar Farooqi, Group Director Enterprise
at PTCL, along with other senior officials.
Under the agreement, PTCL will provide the National Bank of
Pakistan with state-of-the-art infrastructure and platform solutions equipped
with the latest technology and managed security.
During the ceremony, Zarrar Hasham Khan expressed his pleasure
in partnering with the National Bank of Pakistan to support their digital
transformation vision. He highlighted PTCL's commitment to assisting
state-owned institutions in adopting cutting-edge technology solutions to drive
the national digital agenda.
Amin Manji, on behalf of National Bank of Pakistan, expressed
