SBP declares February 5th as holiday for banks
The State Bank of Pakistan has officially declared that all
banks will be closed on February 5, 2024 (Monday) in observance of Kashmir Day.
In a statement released by the SBP, it was announced that
the State Bank of Pakistan will observe a public holiday on February 5, 2024,
in recognition of 'Kashmir Day,' as designated by the Government of Pakistan.

On this day, Kashmiris worldwide will participate in
activities to condemn the Indian occupation of Kashmir and advocate for a fair
and peaceful resolution of the issue in accordance with UN resolutions.
