Siraj ud Din Aziz appointed as Banking Ombudsman by government
Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has approved the appointment of
Siraj ud Din Aziz as the Banking Ombudsman for Pakistan.
Siraj ud Din Aziz, a highly experienced and skilled banker, has
been chosen for the role of Banking Ombudsman.
Aziz has an extensive background in the banking sector, having
worked for various companies in Pakistan, China, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom,
Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates. He previously served as the Chief
Executive Officer-Financial Institution at Habib Bank AG Zurich.
Furthermore, Aziz has held the positions of president and CEO in several prominent commercial banks in Pakistan. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP).
