U Microfinance Bank, recognized as Pakistan's

creating more opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on the
occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities – 2023.
In a statement released on Monday, U Bank expressed its
ongoing dedication to making a positive impact on the lives and livelihoods of
all its stakeholders across diverse population segments in Pakistan. To fulfill
its commitment to PWDs, U Bank strategically partnered with the Special Talent
Exchange Program (STEP) to conduct a comprehensive Accessibility Audit of its
premises nationwide.

This initiative aimed at ensuring that PWDs have access to U
Bank’s financial products and services, underscoring the bank's commitment to
breaking barriers and fostering an environment of equal banking opportunities.
Additionally, U Bank organized multiple training sessions for its staff in
collaboration with STEP, focusing on raising awareness, encouraging empathy,
and facilitating the seamless integration of PWDs into the workforce.
The statement emphasized that U Bank consistently nurtures
an inclusive workplace culture to contribute to a compassionate and supportive
work environment. As part of this commitment, U Bank proudly announced the
successful conclusion of the first batch of its Internship Program exclusively
dedicated to Persons with Disabilities. This program provided equal growth and
learning opportunities, contributing to the nurturing of talent in an inclusive
employment landscape.

Mr. Mohamed Essa Al Taheri, President & CEO of U Bank,
