Meezan Bank and Mastercard strengthen strategic partnership with expanded offerings
Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading
Islamic bank, and Mastercard have renewed their strategic partnership to
further enhance the banking experience for Meezan’s customers across Pakistan.
This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
signed by Syed Amir Ali, Deputy CEO of Meezan Bank, and J.K. Khalil, Regional
President of Mastercard. The signing ceremony also featured Meezan Bank’s
President & CEO, Irfan Siddiqui, and Group Head Consumer Finance, Syed
Iftikhar ul Haq, alongside other senior executives from both organizations.
As part of this renewed partnership,
Meezan Bank, which boasts the fastest-growing debit card portfolio powered by
Mastercard, will expand its premium offerings. The Bank plans to introduce
exclusive benefits tailored to the needs of its affluent customers, including
enhanced convenience, bespoke travel and lifestyle privileges, and an improved
digital banking experience.

longstanding relationship between the two institutions, most recently
highlighted by Meezan Bank hosting Pakistan’s first Mastercard-led
