Pakistan gets low ranking in business environment
The World Bank has ranked Pakistan in the fourth quintile of economies due to a challenging business environment characterized by weak regulatory frameworks and limited public services, which impede operational efficiency.
This assessment comes from the newly released report, “Business Ready (B-READY),” a project focused on data collection and analysis to evaluate the global business and investment climate. The B-READY report replaces the previous “Doing Business” initiative, with its inaugural edition covering 50 economies.
