Al Baraka Bank and IIUI look for collaboration

A delegation comprising Global Board Members of Al Baraka Bank recently paid a visit to the Faisal Masjid campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

Led by Dr. Jehad El Nakla, Chairman of the Al Baraka Bank Board, the delegation was warmly received by Nasir Farid, Incharge of Protocol & Public Relations, who provided an overview of IIUI’s services, profile, and its pivotal role in advancing higher education. Among the delegation were Muhammad Atif Hanif, CEO & President of Al Baraka Bank, and Muhammad Umar Pasha, Group Head of Service Quality/ EVP.

During their visit, the delegation actively engaged in activities aimed at fostering collaboration and promoting environmental sustainability. A noteworthy initiative included the planting of a sapling as part of the “one tree, one staff, every year” plantation drive, symbolizing the joint commitment to environmental conservation and restoration efforts.

Discussions centered on ongoing and prospective collaborative projects between Al Baraka Bank and IIUI, particularly focusing on initiatives to enhance the campus's environmental friendliness.

Additionally, the delegation explored the architectural marvel of the Faisal Mosque, expressing keen interest in its design and inquiring about Quran classes conducted on its premises. Both parties expressed contentment with the outcomes of the visit and reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening collaboration in the future. Departing with a deeper appreciation for the cultural and academic significance of the International Islamic University and the Faisal Mosque, the delegation left with optimism for future endeavors.
